Volunteers: The Center is always looking for qualified volunteers (we will train sufficiently motivated applicants)we need volunteers in most areas of client services. especially teaching and tutoring, childcare and transportation. Please apply in person at the Center’s main location in Augusta Maine.
Donations: Your tax-deductible donations are welcome and appreciated. You have the following options for directing the use of your donations:
Individual Scholarships: You will be supporting one woman in need. In some instances you will have the opportunity to meet or talk to the woman you sponsor and follow her progress. Suggested donation $4000 to $20,000.
Scholarships Fund: Your money will be used directly for client scholarships of all levels. You will help two or more women participate in the Center’s programs. Suggested donation $10,000 to 40,000
General donations: The center is a not-for-profit agency. Your donation will be applied to client services, (programs & scholarships) with a small percentage applied to overhead and administrative costs of keeping the Center open to all women regardless of financial means. Suggested donation: $40,000 to $100,,000
